Appfire is seeking an experienced full-time Data Analyst!
In this critical role, you will activate our new company-wide data asset built on Snowflake. Leveraging your expert analytics skills, you will partner with company-wide business leaders and stakeholders to structure, analyze and present one-off analysis and reporting solutions that achieve efficient and effective decisions towards Appfire’s company goals. We’re growing quickly and have a lot to accomplish.
You will be a member of our central data insights team, providing data and analytics partnerships in support of company-wide initiatives and allowing ample opportunity to gain experience into decision making while broadening the technical and business skills to grow your career.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Build, analyze and interpret trends & patterns across partner, customer, marketing, financial and other data
- Drive definition, measurement and interpretation of metrics and KPIs
- Build reporting solutions in Sisense to support use-case focused decision-making across Appfire
- Run analysis in support of monthly business reviews and other use-case focused needs that grow cross-functional decision making and collaboration
- Conduct exploratory analysis and hypothesis-driven deep dives into our data, uncovering opportunities that push the boundaries of data-driven decision making
- Leverage an eye towards self-service, identifying and building capabilities to put information into the hands of our stakeholders in a timely and partnership-driven manner
About Your Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience manipulating and drawing insights from data
- Strong programming skills with SQL required
- Experience with data exploration and visualization, leveraging tools such as Tableau, Sisense, Google Sheets, Excel or similar platforms
- Analytical mindset with the ability to dive deep or wide to discover new opportunities and recommendations
- Experience presenting analysis through both written and verbal mediums across an array of audiences
- Incredibly high standards for your own work and the work of others on the team.
- Able to motivate and excel at a work from home company
- Enduring passion for continuous improvement
- Ability to prioritize, self-manage, and work independently, across tight deadlines within a startup environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Python/R
- Experience understanding complex software products, B2B buyer journeys, partner ecosystems and hybrid revenue models
- Experience with Atlassian tooling, such as Trello, Jira, and Confluence
