We are excited to announce that Appfire is starting Internship Program for 2023!
Our Program is ready to welcome people with no professional experience in the field of software development to work together with our senior developers and start a great career.
For our products we use Java and Kotlin on the backend and JavaScript and TypeScript on the frontend. These would be the main programming languages you'll be gaining experience with during the internship (depending on the team you're on and your preferences). Prior experience with these languages is not required (but it can be advantageous) and we'll do our best to give a chance to all candidates if they've used any similar programming languages.

After you join Appfire, a dedicated mentor will be assigned to you. You will prepare a program together, starting from A to Z in the best possible order for you. At the end of the internship period, the mentor, along with the management team, will decide based on your performance whether to extend the internship, offer a regular contract, or suspend at that point.

During the internship period you learn how to:
Program in Java/Kotlin and/or JavaScript/TypeScript in real-world applications (depending on the team and your preferences);
Develop apps for Atlassian products – Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket;
Test your own code with JUnit;
Work with source control – Git;
Work in a high-performing team using Agile and Scrum;
And most importantly – gain knowledge and experience in a working environment.
You are a good fit if you:
Understand the concepts of OOP;
Have a basic understanding of at least one programming language, preferably Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, C#, C++ or similar;
Are a good team player;
Educated (or currently working on your education) in computer science or related field.
