Our partners are an incredible group of trusted advisors who play an integral role in helping customers solve their challenges. Since expanding our Channel team and program over the past few years, we’ve established a special tradition with our valued partners in the form of a retreat — an opportunity to celebrate and connect with them. This year we gathered in sunny Orlando, Florida, where we hosted representatives from 14 of our Flame and Ignite partners for three days of collaboration, planning, and, of course, fun.
Engaging with our partners to drive value
Throughout the retreat, we explored fresh approaches and strategies aimed at providing even more value to our customers, and spent time in person with some of our most engaged partners to get their insights on our products and solutions. We also shared what we’re working on at Appfire to help expand partners’ knowledge of how they can integrate those solutions into their workflows and discussed new channel resources.
We were thrilled to have representatives from Appfire’s executive team at this year’s retreat, with presentations led by our CEO and Co-founder Randall Ward, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer Alex Triplett, and President Bob Nicholson. Senior Vice President of Global Channel & Field Operations Colin Puckett also presented, along with Chief Product Officer Andy Boyd and Vice President of Product Management Paul Lechner. The Appfire team also held one-on-one sessions with partners, which provided an opportunity for candid conversations about partners’ specific pain points and how Appfire can help, as well as partnership strategy for the coming year.
Taking time to connect and give back
We also took time to give back through Appfire’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, Appfire Town, and Santiago & Friends | Family Center for Autism — an organization committed to the advancement of the Central Florida Latino community. By way of a little friendly competition, participants answered trivia questions and completed various challenges to earn the items needed to build 12 bicycles for local families. It was a fun team-building exercise that created a shared experience for Appfire and our partners, while supporting the local community.
In addition, the retreat included a trip to the Kennedy Space Center, where we enjoyed a private guided tour of the NASA space program, as well as a space-themed dinner.
