We are thrilled to announce Appfire’s acquisition of Qotilabs! Qotilabs’ Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards, on the Atlassian Marketplace, gives customers enhanced Jira Dashboard capabilities for a broad set of use cases. The app transforms dashboards from static to truly dynamic and interactive operational boards, and offers a deep library of gadgets and other enhancements to native Jira Dashboards that allow users to see all relevant information on their Jira instance on a single pane, greatly reducing context switching.
Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards will deepen and expand Appfire’s offerings in the BI & Reporting category, as well as our expertise in dashboards within Jira. Qotilabs also offers three Rich Filter extension apps that focus on ITSM, Time Tracking dashboards, and PDF reporting, which fit well into Appfire’s solutions. Plus, they offer two additional dashboard apps also available in the Atlassian ecosystem.
Qotilabs was founded nearly a decade ago to help companies design, implement, and streamline their software product roadmap development and maintenance processes to enhance collaboration, transparency, and productivity. Today, its customers include companies such as Amazon, Boeing, BMW, Cisco, Citi, Google, Microsoft, Nike, Samsung, Spotify, Visa and VMware.
An exceptional team focused on customer needs
With this news, Appfire is welcoming an exceptional global team of developers, product managers, and QA engineers who are focused on promoting a culture of excellence and maintaining a deep commitment to creating apps with customers in mind.
“Dan and his team have tremendous Atlassian expertise and have built a company that will greatly complement Appfire’s goals and culture,” says Appfire CEO and Co-Founder Randall Ward. “Rich Filters is an outstanding app that expands the breadth of Appfire’s offerings in this aisle and was artfully constructed in a way that makes the app feel native to the Jira platform. The app’s use cases are broadly applicable to other ecosystems we’ve expanded to. We are so excited to bring this software and this accomplished team to Appfire and to our customers and partners.”
“We're very excited about Qotilabs joining the Appfire community,” says the company’s founder and president, Dan Mihalache. “Our mission has always been to provide an exceptional product and user experience. We are confident that our flagship app, Rich Filters, will enhance Appfire's comprehensive portfolio, and together we'll deliver an even richer and more robust experience for current and future users. We're looking forward to the journey ahead.”
What’s next
Qotilabs customers are in great hands and can expect the same top level of app support with Appfire. There will be no immediate changes to the license renewal process. Customers can simply renew with their Atlassian reseller or directly on the Atlassian Marketplace. The current functionalities of Qotilabs’ apps will remain the same, and with the support of Appfire’s infrastructure, customers can look forward to continued investment in the product roadmaps with regular updates and improvements.
As always, please reach out to us if you have any questions about this change or any of Appfire’s software.
