What do you get when you bring together thousands of Atlassian enthusiasts, innovative technology, inspiring sessions, and a booth full of problem-solving fireflies? You get unchaos delivered at Atlassian Team '25.

This year’s event focused on helping teams cut through the clutter and work smarter. From accelerating ITSM and enhancing work management processes to navigating Cloud migration, amplifying portfolio strategy planning, and uncovering an easier, faster Jira — Appfire was there to help teams unchaos their workday.

Through talks and demos, exciting announcements (hello, Appfire Cloud Advantage Alliance!), and meaningful moments with partners and customers, we demonstrated what teams need most: less chaos and more clarity. Whether you joined us at the Appfire booth or caught one of our talks, thank you for making Team '25 unforgettable.

We’re sharing our favorite moments, biggest takeaways, and what’s next as we continue helping teams worldwide get more done, with less stress.

Shaping the Atlassian ecosystem: AI, cloud, and more

So many exciting insights were shared at this year’s event, with Atlassian announcing updates across AI, product collections, Forge, and cloud strategy.

Here’s a glimpse at what we learned:

  • Rovo AI expansion: Rovo, Atlassian’s enterprise AI assistant, is now included in most paid product tiers (Premium and Enterprise, with Standard coming soon). New features include Rovo Studio — a low-code/no-code builder for AI agents; Rovo Dev Agents to support developers in Jira; and Teamwork Graph, a data intelligence layer that connects and understands work across tools and teams.
  • New product collections: The Teamwork Collection combines Jira, Confluence, Loom, and Rovo for streamlined collaboration. The Strategy Collection includes Focus (strategic planning hub), Talent (workforce planning app), and Jira Align.
  • Unified user experience: A refreshed UI is rolling out across products, starting with enterprise customers.
  • Jira for all: Atlassian reaffirmed its commitment to making Jira easier and faster for all users, not just technical teams.
  • Expanded cloud strategy: New offerings include Government Cloud and Isolated Cloud to meet compliance and security needs.
  • Focus on Forge: A new pricing model is on the horizon to support app developers building at scale.
  • Enterprise strategy: Atlassian is aligning its go-to-market strategy around nine core business challenges, including aligning work to goals, improving developer productivity, and accelerating DevOps.

“Atlassian Team '25 made it clear: the future is intelligent, connected, and cloud-first,” said Appfire’s Chief Product Officer Andy Boyd. “These announcements underscore a shift toward integrated, AI-powered teamwork — and Appfire is ready to meet the moment with solutions that scale, adapt, and add value at every step.”

From booth to stage: Demonstrating value for enterprise teams

The Appfire booth was buzzing throughout Team ‘25. We enjoyed sharing demos and chatting with customers and partners about tackling their biggest challenges with our featured solutions: ITSM, Work Management, Cloud Readiness, Portfolio Strategy Planning, and JXL

We also launched the Appfire Cloud Advantage Alliance, designed to help Atlassian Data Center customers transition to Atlassian Cloud, with a focus on complex enterprise environments.

Our team presented on main stages on how to gain insights, streamline processes, and plan better with time tracking, and on transforming and simplifying Jira through the power of JXL, and we presented a series of lightning talks at our booth on governance, risk, and compliance, AI, and DevOps.

We also debuted our new podcast, Beyond the Flame, hosted by Appfire Solution Architects Ed Gaile and Dan Tombs. It’s packed with smart strategies and behind-the-scenes insights to help teams streamline workflows across Atlassian and beyond. And our partners played a key role in our presence at Team ‘25. We collaborated with them on demos and discussions covering:

  • Simplifying governance, risk, and compliance (Valiantys)
  • Platform Incident Hub for oil & gas (Eficode)
  • PMO development (forty8fiftylabs)
  • BigPicture (catworkx + Trundl)
  • SLA and OLA management (Deviniti)
  • DevEx (Modus Create)
  • DORA, cyber resilience, and risk reduction (Appfire booth)

These conversations reflect why enterprises trust Appfire: our emphasis on security, scalability, compliance, and solutions that evolve as business needs grow.

Strengthening partnerships: Navigating change together

Team ‘25 offered a timely opportunity to strengthen connections with our incredible partners, both new and long-standing, as we navigate a rapidly evolving ecosystem together. We were excited to bring new solutions and insights to partners and customers and help establish Appfire as one of the community's most trusted providers and business partners.

Highlights included:

  • Our annual Team Partner Reception (on the water!) with 90+ partners
  • The return of our Team Partner Lunch with 29 high-growth partners
  • 20+ meetings in our Partner Suite — plus dozens more around the event — focused on helping partners develop vertical-specific solutions and support cloud journeys
  • Appfire SVP Colin Puckett’s session at Partner Accelerate Training Day
  • Joint booth demos with seven top partners
  • Participation in workshops on enterprise strategy, cloud platform innovations, and solution design best practices

"Team '25 was a great opportunity to spend even more focused time with our valued partners,” said Colin Puckett, SVP of Global Channel & Field Operations. “From strategy sessions to collaborative, customer-facing demos, these touchpoints reaffirm Appfire’s commitment to supporting our partners with the insights, programs, and solutions needed to drive growth and deliver impact for our shared customers."

Ready for what’s next: Closing out Team ‘25 with momentum

Team ‘25 was a powerful reminder of what makes the Atlassian ecosystem so special — collaboration, innovation, and a deep sense of shared purpose.

“Team provides an invaluable forum for collaboration across the ecosystem,” said Christian Lane, Appfire’s VP of Strategic Alliances. “It’s an opportunity to engage directly with Atlassians, customers, and partners, exchange insights, and align on how we can collectively support enterprise needs. These interactions shape our marketplace strategy and spark innovation, helping us deliver scalable, high-impact solutions that enhance the Atlassian experience.”
