Strong partnerships are built on trust, integrity, and shared accountability. This code sets expectations for how Appfire Technologies, LLC, and its affiliates (“Appfire”) work with third parties, including vendors, contractors, advisors, consultants, channel partners, and other third parties who conduct business with or on behalf of Appfire (jointly referred to hereafter as “Partners”). This Appfire Third-Party Code of Conduct also extends to any subcontractors and any third parties acting on a Partner’s behalf.
The standards set forth in this Appfire Third-Party Code of Conduct reflect our global commitment to ethical conduct, legal compliance, and respect for people and communities. By following these standards, Partners help us protect the people who rely on our products and support the ecosystems we serve.
Act with honesty and integrity
We expect Partners to conduct business with Appfire in a way that is honest, transparent, and aligned with the highest ethical standards. Partners must avoid conflicts of interest and act in good faith in all interactions involving Appfire or its customers.
Comply with applicable laws and regulations
Partners are responsible for understanding and complying with all laws, rules, and regulations relevant to their work with Appfire, including those related to labor, privacy, competition, export control, and anti-corruption. If a Partner is unsure whether something is permitted, they should seek clarification from Appfire’s Legal Department at legal@appfire.com.
Extend compliance to subcontractors
Appfire expects Partners to ensure that their subcontractors, agents, and other downstream providers also comply with this code.
Partners are responsible for confirming that anyone working on their behalf — including resellers, consultants, or service providers — follows the same standards as outlined here.
Partners must also notify Appfire promptly if a known or suspected violation occurs anywhere in their supply chain that could affect their work with Appfire.
Prevent bribery and corruption
Appfire does not tolerate bribery or corruption in any form. Do not offer, give, solicit, or receive anything of value to gain an improper advantage. This includes cash, gifts, meals, entertainment, or favors intended to influence decisions or secure business.
All gifts, hospitality, and charitable contributions connected to Appfire business must be modest, infrequent, lawful, and transparent. When in doubt, Partners should not offer it and should not accept it.
Compete fairly and honestly
We support open markets and fair competition. Partners must not engage in price-fixing, bid-rigging, market allocation, or any other practices that distort fair trade. Agreements that limit competition — even informal agreements — must be avoided.
Protect confidential information
Partners must respect the confidentiality of any nonpublic information they receive through their work with Appfire. They must not share, use, or disclose sensitive data — including (but not limited to) business plans, customer records, or personal information — unless explicitly authorized.
If a Partner suspects a security incident or privacy issue (which may include, for example, unauthorized access or use of systems or accounts, malware or ransomware infections, phishing or social engineering compromises, denial-of-service attacks, physical or environmental security breaches, system misconfigurations or security control failures, or any loss or unauthorized disclosure of personal data or any data involving Appfire or its customers), they must report it immediately by emailing securityevent@appfire.com.
Partners must comply with all applicable data privacy and information security laws when working with Appfire. This includes (but is not limited to) protecting personal information, customer data, and confidential business records from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or loss.
Partners must:
- Handle data only as permitted by law and their contract with Appfire
- Limit access to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis
- Promptly notify Appfire of any suspected or confirmed security incident involving Appfire information
- Cooperate with any investigation or remediation steps
To understand how Appfire collects, uses, and protects personal information, review our Privacy Policy.
Maintain financial integrity
Appfire expects Partners to maintain accurate and complete books and records for all business conducted with or on behalf of Appfire.
This includes:
- Submitting truthful and timely proposals, invoices, and documentation
- Recording expenses and transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and contractual requirements
- Not engaging in any practices intended to misrepresent, conceal, or falsify business records
Partners must cooperate with Appfire if questions arise regarding documentation or transactions related to their relationship with Appfire.
Safeguard Appfire assets
Partners must use Appfire property and resources responsibly and only for authorized purposes. Intellectual property, tools, and assets made available to Partners must be protected against misuse, loss, or theft.
Respect human rights and prohibit forced labor
Appfire is committed to upholding the dignity of every person involved in Appfire’s business. Appfire expects the same commitment from Partners.
Partners must not engage in or tolerate any form of forced labor, involuntary labor, bonded labor, child labor, or human trafficking. All work must be voluntary, and workers must be free to leave employment upon reasonable notice.
Partners must not:
- Employ individuals under the minimum legal working age
- Use fraudulent or misleading recruitment practices
- Destroy or withhold identity documents
- Impose fees or debt as a condition of employment
- Provide housing or working conditions that fail to meet legal or safety standards
Appfire will not knowingly work with anyone who violates these principles.
Support freedom of association and collective bargaining
Appfire expects Partners to respect the rights of workers to freely associate and to bargain collectively in accordance with applicable laws.
No Partner may interfere with, restrict, or retaliate against workers for lawfully organizing or participating in a worker organization or union.
Promote equal opportunity and a respectful work environment
Partners must not engage in discrimination, harassment, or abuse in any form. Appfire expects Partners to treat people fairly, regardless of race, gender, nationality, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.
Comply with environmental, health, and safety requirements
Appfire expects Partners to operate in ways that protect the environment, promote health and safety, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Partners must:
- Comply with environmental laws, permits, and safety standards relevant to their operations
- Take reasonable steps to minimize environmental impact, such as reducing waste, conserving resources, and improving energy efficiency
- Maintain a safe and healthy workplace for their workers and the communities they operate in
- Ensure that hazardous materials are handled, stored, and disposed of responsibly and in accordance with local laws
If Partner’s activities pose a risk to people, property, or the environment — including through accidents, unsafe conditions, or regulatory violations — they must notify Appfire promptly.
Speak up and prevent retaliation
Appfire expects Partners to encourage a culture of integrity, including reporting potential misconduct when they see it.
Partners must:
- Provide a way for their workers to raise legal or ethical concerns safely
- Prohibit retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith
- Cooperate with Appfire if concerns or violations arise
Raising concerns helps protect people, systems, and the trust we build together. If a Partner becomes aware of any serious issue that may affect Appfire or its customers, we expect them to share that information promptly through their Appfire point of contact or the legal@appfire.com email address.
Appfire may request Partners to confirm their alignment with this code during onboarding or due diligence processes.
