Job Purpose and Overview

Due to Appfire's exponential growth, we are seeking a talented and highly self-motivated professional to join our team as a UX Researcher. There will be many opportunities to showcase your deep technical knowledge, keen analytical skills, proficiency at written communication, as well as your interpersonal and organizational skills. 

We are looking for someone who can provide actionable data-driven insights. You will be expected to support our development efforts by building up a picture of our target users based on their needs, wants, motivations, and pain points.

What You Will Do

  • Obtaining qualitative data through research to understand user needs and actions and enhancing it with quantitative data
  • Conducting end-to-end UX research like planning, user screening, foundational research, user interviews, and usability or concept testing
  • Creating reports and providing recommendations based on research findings to support our Product Management, Designers, and Development teams in their work on new and existing product functionalities
  • Sharing best practices and knowledge of UX research with the rest of the team
  • Be the champion and advocate of UX Research on all levels of the organization

What We Would Like To See

  • 2+ years of experience as a UX Researcher in user research, and with that:
    • Excellent knowledge of UX methodologies.
    • Understanding of how to use qualitative and quantitative data.
    • Proficiency in data consolidation and analysis and creating reports reflecting users’ voices and research findings.
    • Experience in delivering research insights along with clear recommendations to stakeholders and broader audiences with easy and simple-to-follow language.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of cross-functional teams.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical mindset.
  • Willingness to continuously learn.
  • Excellent Polish and English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • And if you’re a team player with excellent communication skills, not afraid to present your ideas and discuss them in a larger group.

Nice to have

  • Experience with quantitative data
  • Knowledge of Jira and other Atlassian ecosystem Apps
  • Experience in working with Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of project or portfolio management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMBoK, MoP, etc.)

  • Amplitude for product analytics
  • Hotjar for peeking
  • Maze and UserTesting for user feedback and insights
  • Jira for tracking tickets
  • Google Workspace for everything else

Remuneration & model of cooperation

You can choose between:

  • 12 000 – 15 000 PLN gross contract of employment / month (umowa o pracę)
  • 12 000 – 15 000 PLN + VAT B2B / month (kontrakt B2B)
