Join us on December 3 for a day of empathy and compassion, dedicated to making a difference through action versus donations. Appfire employees can use their volunteer PTO, but everyone is welcome to participate. Just find a cause, give your time, and make an impact.

Small acts of kindness that spark big transformations

Start small and grow. It doesn’t take much to ignite a wave of goodness within your community and beyond. We call it “the ripple effect.” Need inspiration? Here are simple ways to get involved and make a difference.

Give a hand at a local food bank

Sort donations, pack boxes, meal prep, meal distribution, inventory, event support, admin support, helping clients.

Reach out to someone needing connection

Organize walking or social meet up groups, help with transportation, offer time and attention to seniors and vets.

Beautify your city or neighborhood

Litter clean ups. graffiti removal, yard help for a neighbor, plant a community garden, launch a park beautification day.

Mentor/tutor a child or young adult

Homework help, goal setting, skill sharing, book reading, career/life advice, or volunteering together to build empathy.

Donate your time at a homeless shelter

Serve meals, cleaning and maintenance, admin help, donation organization, childcare help, emotional support.

Pitch in at your local animal shelter

Exercise pets, help with socialization, cleaning, feeding, shelter maintenance, fostering or adoption event assistance.
